Addresses pages. Since CBS has broadcast previous Olympic games their affiliates are a
good source for media pins. Along with CBS you will find a complete listing of NBC Affiliates Websites & Mailing Addresses. Since NBC will be
broadcasting the next 6 Olympics their affiliates will be a good source of pins as well.
Call them what you'd like fake,
bogus, knockoffs, unauthorized or my favorite fantasy pins but they are out there. The
Salt Lake Olympic pin frenzies has certainly gotten more than its fair share of them thus
far. Get educated and don't get burned by unscrupulous dealers and traders by Viewing what has been produced thus
far, with more than likely and unfortunately, more to come.
Also inside you will find PinFeverTimes, a publication dedicated strictly to the pins for Salt Lake 2002 Winter
Olympics. These publications contain detailed information and colored pictures of
sponsor, special issue, media, unauthorized, knockoff, and general issued pins along with
pages of Internet Olympic links and a handy checklist of all the 2002 pins. Volume 1
contains a complete listing of all 2002 pins issued from the 1998 failed bid attempt up to
and including all issues through 1999. This issue has 52 pages of information and images
of over 600 pins. Volume 2 focuses on pins issued from January 2000
through March 2001. This edition has 54 pages containing over 540
images of pins and pin sets with information on over 600 pins.
Volume 3 has just begun it contains pins issued after March 2001 and will be continually
updated up and through the 2002 games. The current issue (4) contains 54 pages with images
