Ashley's third national competition at Beginner Novice Rider was at Canterbury Horse Trials in Newberry, Florida at the start of the winter eventing circuit in Florida
Even though she rode her best dressage test ever, she was tied for 17th after dressage out of 19. Despite this disastrous beginning, she fought back with clean cross country & stadium jumping rounds. Well...there was this little incident on the cross country course where she scared 2 jump judges into fleeing for their lives..but we won't mention THAT!
Many were not able to go clean on the cross country, so Ashley finished with the 10th place ribbon out of 19 starters.
