Pine Top Horse Trials, Thompson, GA

When Mud Wiggle pulled up lame a few days before the show, Ashley had to pull Tuxedo to Go out of the pasture & press him into service. They both tried but they hadn't shown together in almost a year and their partnership suffered a bit.

A decent showing in dressage left them in contention for a ribbon but Ashley made a few mental mistakes in show jumping which resulted in 2 rails down, something Tuxedo has never done with her in the past. A brilliant run of double clear in the cross country couldn't overcome this mistake and they finished just out of the ribbons in 9th place, missing it by a whisker!
