Sporting Days at Aiken Horse Trials

Ashley rode her second national level competition at Beginner Novice Rider at the Sporting Days at Aiken Horse Trails. She was tied for 5th after the opening round of dressage.

When the first 3 riders had refusals at the first cross country jump, Ashley knew she had to take command of the ride from the beginning. Grabbing Tuxedo's attention from the beginning, Ashley rode a blistering pace across the most difficult beginner novice course she's seem so far. Not only was she the FIRST rider to post a double clear cross country round, she was one of only 4 competitors in the field of 15 to finish w/a double clear round.

Her super performance moved her into 3rd place. A great double clear round in stadium insured her 3rd place finish.

	Taking the ramp on the beginner novice cross country course at Aiken, SC. This was a tough field! Out of 13 riders to make it to cross country, Ashley was the first double clear round & one of only 4 riders to complete the course with a double clear.
