Each day during an Olympics, day pins are released. Many sets were released during Atlanta, however 5 sets included pictograms of horses on them. Each set has 17 pins released except the black logo cream colored set which only released 16 pins. In each case, the equestrian pictogram were NOT included on days, 1,11 & 14.
Day 9 pins are sometimes hard to find because they were released the day of the Centennial Park bombing & are considered a special collectors item.
